Welcome to Woodingdean Medical Centre. Woodingdean is an eastern suburb of the city of Brighton and Hove in East Sussex, separated from the main part of the city by downland and the Brighton Racecourse. With a local population in excess of 10,000 and a list size of approx 8,500 we provide medical care to the vast majority of the local people. We are a forward thinking, innovative team with commitment to retaining the traditional strengths that General Practice offers.
Woodingdean Medical Centre moved into new purpose built facilities (shared with Woodingdean Library) in Warren Road in 2014.

Woodingdean Medical Centre sets measurable standards that take into account our responsibility for delivering national and local priorities in health care. These standards are reviewed regularly and we monitor our performance against the standards set, by clinical audits.

PCN and Federations
Our surgery is part of East & Central Brighton Primary Care Network (PCN). A PCN is an NHS Collaboration between GP Practices – our PCN group is Arch Healthcare, Ardingly Court Surgery, Broadway Surgery, Park Crescent Health Centre, Pavilion Surgery, Regency Surgery, St Peters Medical Centre and Wellsbourne Health Centre.
