Occasionally, medical students from the University of Brighton sit in with our doctors as part of their medical training. This gives them the opportunity of experiencing general practice.
The doctor will discuss this with you before your consultation so please feel free to decline the student’s presence if you prefer. We are not offended if you do not want the student in the consultation as your privacy and care is one of the highest priorities to us.
However, we hope that you will consent to the medical student being present during your consultation as this will greatly assist with their training.
